Community Kirtan for Peace and Compassion

 —  —

Portland New Church, 302 Stevens Ave., Portland

Tonight I will be singing response with Todd Glacy for an in-person evening of Kirtan. Also joining will be Marni Prince on vocals and Jason Prince on percussion. Come sing with us in the spacious Portland New Church. Feed your soul and be refreshed by these heart-centered and beautiful sounds.

So many of us are much in need of community connection to strengthen and nourish us. Lots of love will flow through this evening, and we would welcome your presence.

Also, as Todd notes, earlier this Fall the Portland New Church was set on fire by someone destroying a Black Lives Matter flag on the front of the building. As a community it is important for us to come together to aid in the healing and reaffirming of the space as a sacred gathering place for conscious community, peace and love.

Kirtan is a beautiful community practice of singing sacred mantras. There is no performer/audience as we are all co-creators of the experience. All are welcome to join us in raising the Love Vibration! Pre-registration is recommended but you are welcome to simply arrive.

About masks: It is suggested that attendees have a mask available in case a large audience is present. However, we are expecting a small gathering. As for vaccines, that is your personal choice. All humans are welcome!!!

Also, Todd is hosting a TOOLS FOR TRANCE-FORMATION in the afternoon (that I am not a part of).
