play Dance Around The Fountain

from Painting A Moving Train BUY iTunes

A colorfully lit Colorado fountain attracted a little girl. As she danced in and around the fountain, Greg thought of the lighthearted play of the twirling child and the symbolic spring of life that she joyfully splashed in. Greg would like to dedicate the song to Hannah, who will forever hold a piece of his heart.

And she'll dance around the fountain
Dance around the fountain
And she'll throw away the pain
Throw away the pain
And she'll live her life for the light that burns inside

And she'll dance around the fountain
Dance around the fountain
And she'll twirl in the wind
Lose herself again
And she'll share the light that taught her how to shine

Bridge:
And when the clouds they come around
To drive the pouring rain
She'll be standing on the rock
Just laughing once again

(Solo)

(Rpt. Bridge)

And she'll dance around the fountain
Dance around the fountain
And she'll throw away the pain
Throw away the pain
And she'll live her life for the light that burns inside

And she'll dance around the fountain
Dance around the fountain
And she'll smile at the train
Glory bound and then
She'll turn her hand to pass it on again
