While observing the caffeine drinkers bustling in and out of an International Falls java house, Greg (his own coffee in hand), began to think about the addictive Starbucks mentality of America. He ruminated over the idea that if we're all addicted to something, why not let it be the light?

Just tell me something that comes from a heartache soul
It's caught spinning on the second floor - it's your own
The mumble jumble of my psyche has just caught me up
Just two spoons from the bottom of my coffee cup

I use excuses - I know that I'll use them again
It's just my privilege to stand in prevailing wind
Can't somebody close the window from the cold
And I can get close to you, then I can get close

Chorus:
Then one day a light came shining
Then one day I saw the light
It just took a faith I thought I didn't have
It just took my wrong from right

We're not barbaric - now I hear it in a sleep dream song
Cappuccino inspiration to a world gone wrong
This mumble jumble of my psyche has just caught me up
That's just two spoons from the bottom of my coffee cup

(Chorus)

Don't start preaching - I can't hear all those words
Tell me something that comes from a heart that hurts
Can't somebody close the window from the cold
Then I can get close to you - then I can get close

That's just two spoons from the bottom of my coffee cup
