Homes on the Road - Gracie

Home (Home-Home & Gracie the tour bus)
Great-great-great Grandpa Obadiah Crandall built this house in 1863. It's been in the family ever since. Helena grew up here with her three younger siblings and mom and dad. There were always plenty of animals including various rescued creatures. As the years have gone by, fruit trees have been added to the always bountiful garden. It is still a place of relative tranquility, although the stars have dimmed and the noise increased because of the addition of I-39 and it's accompanying light and noise pollution. Helena's brother Stephen now farms the land - corn and soy beans mostly. Helena's grateful it's all still here. Gracie, the bus, is parked now at Quiet Valley Ranch, home of the Kerrville Folk Festival.
