Singing Kirtan with Eddy Nataraj
1 Halls Hill Road
Here's a bit about Eddy and the sweet collection of folks who will be leading kirtan tonight:
"Eddy Nataraj has experiencing living homeless for seven years at an earlier time in his life and has a very inspiring story. He has opened Kirtan for Snatam Kaur and is a wonderful singer. Eddy Nataraj is a unique Kirtan artist who combines a Spanish gypsy guitar style with the ancient mantras, creating a soulful and uplifting type of kirtan. His guitar styles include rock, jazz, flamenco, classical, and much more! After practicing japa meditation in the woods for four years, leading kirtan became the natural transition for him to share his love of music, mantra and meditation."
Bret DuBack is a Kundalini Yoga teacher of 18 years. He is a drummer and creator of New Englands's Annual 700 voices sacred music festival. He will be offering teacher training this fall in Durham Maine and Connecticut.
